FAQ / 01
Buy, Sell & Send
What can I do with trimlake?
Buy USDT or USDC with local currency, sell stablecoins for a local payout, or send fiat between South Africa and Zimbabwe.
We are preparing a private beta for selected users. Access will be by invitation, with identity verification required before requesting a transfer.
How do Buy and Sell work?
For Buy, provide a Binance UID, linked email or linked phone and follow the local payment instructions on your request. The team confirms receipt before sending USDT or USDC manually.
For Sell, send USDT or USDC only to the receiving account shown on your request. After verification, the team arranges your local payout.
Which payment methods can I use?
South Africa funds requests by EFT to Bank. Zimbabwe funds requests by EcoCash or Cash-in.
Payouts in South Africa use EFT to Bank. Zimbabwe payouts can use EcoCash, EFT to Bank or Cash Collection. Your options depend on the selected service and country.
Are transfers instant?
No. Incoming payments are verified and payouts are handled manually by the team. Processing depends on payment confirmation and staff availability.
A submitted payment claim is not confirmation. Ready for collection is not completion; cash pickup must also be acknowledged.
What will I pay?
Your quote shows the exchange rate, service fee, payment due and recipient amount. Buy adds the fee; Sell and Send deduct it before calculating the payout.
Rates and fees can change for new requests. Check the expiry and payment instructions before paying; an expired request needs review.
Does Send need a Binance account?
No. Send is local currency to local currency between South Africa and Zimbabwe. Provide the recipient's bank or mobile details for their chosen payout method.
Check those details carefully before submitting. Use My orders to follow the request and view its recorded completion.
